Long overdue update...

Have been busy finishing this one (as well as other projects). A few updated pics.

Pickguard came from MJT with the body. Looks like a layer of lacquer on the surface to give it the vintage tint. Not sure how that's going to hold up. Here is a mockup with a modern mustang bridge - will need to swap that out for a 7-1/4" radius bridge.

Shielding to try and keep this one quiet...

Playing around with the bridge and added a Staytrem arm. The Staytrem Bass VI bridge is for another project.

When I started putting everything together, I realized I installed the trem too far forward in the cavity and it was rubbing against the wood. Some crude routing required...

For pickups, I ended up going with the Fender V-Mod set - for a slightly more modern twist on the jaguar sound. These sound good !

Finished guitar ! All I'm missing is the mute... Getting all the wiring to fit was no easy task. Glad I had the pre-wired harness. Overall a great first project. This thing plays and sounds great.

I slapped the bridge back on way too fast - I know it's backwards... :shifty:  :D Picked up this vintage mustang bridge on eBay. The trem is also an original from the '60s. Plays great.
