Interactive fretboard radius calculator.
So recently I've been looking into new bridges for my Jazzmaster. I wanted to get a Staytrem, but they appear to be all sold out.
I wanted a fixed bridge so I think I'm going to get either a tune-o-matic one or a roller. But the issue with these is that they are for 12" radius guitars, and mine is 9.5". I thought this was a dead-end until I tried to do the maths. Turns out that even on the edges of the fretboard, the difference in radius only accounts for 0.01 inches, so I probably won't be able to tell the difference.
I used desmos to do the calculations and I thought I would share this for anyone else wondering how much of a difference each radius makes.

Instructions are on the website. I'm pretty sure my maths is correct, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it works out better to go with a bridge radius just a bit larger than the neck radius... because the high E will be closer to the frets than the low E. A bridge radius smaller than the neck radius may result in a noticable higher action on the middle strings.

As a side note, I have been looking for a tune-o-matic bridge but they all have a 2-29/32" post whereas the Jazzmaster/Jaguar bridge has a post spacing of 2-7/8"
Is that extra 32nd of an inch a problem?

It would be a problem. The holes in the wood are in the wrong place and the wrong size for the TOM.

Do you know where I can buy that part? That company only sells wholesale.

I'm curious where you found it. I actually had to register as a builder with them and pay via a bank transfer.

While the excenter bushings come in two outer diameters (8 or 9mm), the inner thread is only M4. So will only work with ABR-1-style TOMs with M4 (metric) lower posts.

Staytrem bridges are currently available, but their site always says "Out of stock but can be pre ordered" because all parts are currently made to order. Their current turnaround is about 5-8 weeks, depending on where you live. There's a thread here where some folks have been reporting on how long their orders have taken to arrive, if you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=118232

The 9mm ones fit right into Warmoth holes with no thimble... Just FYI.
