Hey everyone!

Was looking to see if EY was still a thing, and it looks like they have an ass ton of (relatively) recent offset parts. Just dropping by to ask if any of you tried their Jazzmaster-shaped WRHBs yet? They also have dual blade ones, but these have my interest piqued given the price.

Not tried any of the pickups. But wow! They are carrying a ton of offset parts all of a sudden. All the different plates that can be so hard to track down. They also had a pretty cheap Mustang bridge with a 9.5 radius, which peaks my interest.

I've never paid too much attention to those pickups... I assumed they were probably regular humbuckers dressed up as WRHBs, as is invariably the case with cheap ones. But I've just noticed they have AlNiCo polepieces. Could be interesting.

I ordered one of these last year and it turned up to have a 7.25" radius. Hopefully they have corrected this, but... buyer beware.

I saw another listing which had screw polepieces, and was thinking those were just PAFs. Then I checked again and found they had a model with 12 magnetic polepieces. $38 doesn't sound like a bad deal per piece. Just wondering if anyone else tried one of these yet, or if anyone's willing to take one for the team haha.

Right? The Jag plates in particular were a nice thing to see.

Same, homie. I'm literally just waiting to see what others say about the thing before getting one for myself. I have a guitar just waiting for that next pickup haha.

in my case, i'll get hit with heavy import fees and i'd have to convince myself to do some builds. granted, i've wanted to build a stained pink jazzblaster for a while now and their full sized widerange pickups look ok.

I got some Jag plates from them a couple years ago that were nicely made. It's cool that they have black, gold, and antique bronze ones, I'm sure someone could do an interesting build with them.

Their pickups have long interested me for some cheap builds. They have WRHBs with twelve alnico poles as well, which I was considering when I was eyeing those FSR sparkly Squier Tele Deluxes.

They also have a couple of winds of Thunderbird pickups - with the proper bar magnet polepieces and everything - that have casually been calling my name for quite some time. Even have the pickup surround that covers the "tabs" on a JM pickguard/rout, so they'd drop right into a JM.

I got a tele bridge and a pickup set from them a while back. Pretty good, I have to say. Their WRHBs are probably worth a punt.

All those jaguar plates and "odd option" trem plates they have now sure are cool. I see they have black anodized JM pickguards, too! :w00t:

Got my eye on these too... I'd love to see a demo/review if you get them first. :)

I have one enroute! I'll let you know how it holds up against others I've had in the past (AVRI, theworkoffire).

I can't answer the OP, but they have added a ton of cool pickups lately. Those Thundebirds have been on my list for a while. I bought a pair of these last year and they sound great, kind of like a low wound P90, but still with a bit of grunt. Also, these insane things could be fun in the right project.

I'd like to try one of the hardtail pieces they have for Offset guitars.

I love jazzmasters. But Never use the tremolo. Would like to slap one on one of the Guitars i'm making to see how the guitar plays.
