Could I out a mustang neck on a 3/4 size squire Strat body and still have it intonate? The usual scale lengeth for mini strat is 22.5"......
There's a guy at Jagstang.com who put a Jag-Stang neck on a 1970's Warmoth 7/8 size Strat body here:

And i like that - small handed weakling that I am

Maybe, and if not you might be able to move the bridge. It would be easier to move the bridge away from the pickguard than closer in, in which case you would have to cut off part of the pickguard. In a worst case scenario the bridge would have to go where the lead pickup is, which would complicate things, I kind of doubt that's the case though.
Do you have a 3/4 Squier Strat? If you do, can you measure the distance from the end of the neck to the beginning of the bridge?
I can measure the distance from the same points on my Mustang if you want.

Hi thanks for the info - I don't have a mini strat however I will keep my eye out for a bargain at my local car boot sale!.
I suppose the other option is a warmoth-style conversion neck for a standard strat giving it a shorter Gibson scale...but i digress into non offset territory here of course.
