New Mustang Project - Sticking to tradition (Or "Atoning for the Jag project")

Post by Black Cat Bone » Mon Jun 02, 2008 12:22 am

Hi all - a long term project here (i.e buying parts as time permits). Its gonna be a black mustang or sunburst and the overall cost must fall under £581.99.  Why so?

It all started when i missed this ebay posting, i didn't need it but it look so beautiful and maybe my cash will stretch...but but.at the last minute I bailed at £581 and some bastard got a great deal...:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0235996006

Anyway I've never quite gotten over this  so since coming into a bit of money I've accidentally picked up these:
'64 Mustang Tort for £62.90
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0055815232

'65 A width Mustang neck (Gotta be A width!) for £161.67

It kinda looks like I've talked myself into a new project! :D  this one will take some time as My money is mainly going on the Jag project (not to mention Amps and stuff).  All parts must be 64/65 parts (pref 64) and it must come in under £581.99 - 'dems the rules of the game.  I'll update as i go on giving a running total.

Now just to decide - Sunburst or Black??

I hate it when that happens.

There are too few black Mustangs in the world so.. black.
Bigger in sum than parts.

seems like a great project!

i really love sunburst mustangs with white pearl 'guards as they are pretty rare, but seeing that you've gotten a tort 'guard, i'd go with black as well.
