So I've been working on a 7 transistor fuzz war, using the bellum fuzz mk1 PCB from pedalpcb.com. I can not get this thing to fucking work.
Basically I have two questions.
Has anyone been able to get this circuit to work? If so, how?
If I give up on this particular circuit, I still want to use the enclosure, because it looks rad as fuck. Is there another giant thick fuzz that could be built with three knobs and isn't insanely difficult?
I already have a green Russian Big Muff, a Harmonic Percolator, germanium fuzz face, and the behringer super fuzz. I'm looking for something different than those, but still in the realm of the fuzz war.
Thoughts?

Re: Need ideas for a 3 knob fuzz
I've built several effects kits from General Guitar Gadgets and they made noise on first power-up. There are several variants under each kit-type (see link below). You can buy their kits without enclosures.

Welp, Adrian from Twilight Zone Electronics was able to build this for me, and I dropped it right into the enclosure.

I think he's the only builder willing to take on this ridiculous circuit. It sounds amazing. Big, beefy, and blown out. Just what you would expect from this pedal.
Definitely check out Twilight Zone, he's making some great stuff, it's priced really well, and he's great to deal with. He even put up with my incessant questions.

If I ever started a pedal company, I would probably take this same strategy with copies of 13 Songs by Fugazi.raxling coxcomb, a wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 5:24 pm

Yeah, meant as an fyi to folks of all (or no) strokes
Excellent (and ironic) choice. Your build looks good, as do your other projects. Salute!threewordname wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 8:05 am
