Re: Bought this neck on a whim, unsure of next steps
Yay! Neck arrived today.
It's very nice. The logo appears to be screenprinted. It's nicely done and in the correct spot.
I had some F stamped tuners lying around so I'm going to put those on it. Not sure what project I'll use this for.

I think they're a new type of decal called DTF (Direct To Film) transfers. I'm getting samples from a couple places that make them to see, but it looks like they're so much easier to apply than waterslides.CROSS_guitars wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:47 pmYay! Neck arrived today.

Had a look on Ebay and sadly it seems they won’t ship to the EU..
Can’t seem to find them over on Aliexpress either.

I bought this one too.
This seems like a riskier purchase because the description of the neck doesn't match the pictures.
So I sure hope they send me the right neck and not the crappy one that's pictured when you scroll down on the listing.
It also doesn't help that the user feedback says people have received the wrong neck. But it's so damn cheap, I couldn't resist.

Yep, these necks are legit!
Pretty good for a hundo!
Proper maple and rosewood. The neck profile is nice. The headstock shape is accurate enough.
No overhanging fretboard BS.
The only thing I don't like much is the truss rod hole. But that's a minor gripe.

Specs: has anyone taken specs off one of these yet?
What's the neck depth at 1st and 12th fret?

I'm searching on The Bay and cannot find one like that. Please post a link or at least some search terms or the name of the seller.
