Yay! Neck arrived today.
It's very nice. The logo appears to be screenprinted. It's nicely done and in the correct spot.
I had some F stamped tuners lying around so I'm going to put those on it. Not sure what project I'll use this for.

I think they're a new type of decal called DTF (Direct To Film) transfers. I'm getting samples from a couple places that make them to see, but it looks like they're so much easier to apply than waterslides.

Had a look on Ebay and sadly it seems they won’t ship to the EU.. :-/

Can’t seem to find them over on Aliexpress either.

I bought this one too.
This seems like a riskier purchase because the description of the neck doesn't match the pictures.
So I sure hope they send me the right neck and not the crappy one that's pictured when you scroll down on the listing.
It also doesn't help that the user feedback says people have received the wrong neck. But it's so damn cheap, I couldn't resist.

Yep, these necks are legit!
Pretty good for a hundo!
Proper maple and rosewood. The neck profile is nice. The headstock shape is accurate enough.
No overhanging fretboard BS.
The only thing I don't like much is the truss rod hole. But that's a minor gripe.

Dang... these look really good for the money.

Anyone have one bolted-on and strung up yet?

Specs: has anyone taken specs off one of these yet?

What's the neck depth at 1st and 12th fret?

I'm searching on The Bay and cannot find one like that. Please post a link or at least some search terms or the name of the seller.

I was looking for the dots and binding version. Maybe they are sold out.

I bought one of the roasted D&B ones and it arrived yesterday. The wood, binding, and frets all look quite good, particularly for how inexpensive the neck was ($75 shipped). Little flaws here and there that you can see upon close inspection, but perfectly acceptable for a neck this cheap. The fretwork seems ok, but I can't know for sure until I have it strung up under tension. The nut is what will probably need the most work. It needs to be sanded down and the string slots need to be worked on, but that's true with all new nuts.

Comparing it directly with an AllParts Jaguar neck I'm currently working on, there's the tiniest difference in the headstock shape, but you would have to be looking for it to notice. Also, the tuner holes are inset a couple mm further away from the top edge of the headstock. Again, not something you would probably notice without looking for it, but it does mean that the tuner knobs stick out a couple mm less than normal. Not really an issue. It does have 10mm tuner holes, so if you want to use vintage style split shaft tuners you'll need conversion bushings.

The decal is fine from a distance but up close you can tell it will get destroyed quickly unless you go over it with clear. That's not a problem for me because I never intended to keep it on there. A minute or two with some light grit sandpaper and it was gone. I'm already in the process of painting the headstock to match a Bilindastang that currently has a Squier VM Mustang neck on it.

Nothing I've said so far has me all that concerned, but there are two things that could cause some problems... or not. First, when comparing it directly to the AllParts neck, the distance from the highest fret to the heel on the new neck is a couple mm shorter. That will have to be adjusted for with the bridge saddles to get the intonation correct. Those couple mm can make a difference depending on how far back the saddles can go. Again, it might not be a problem, but I won't know until mounting it and setting it up.

My main concern is the truss rod. There's very little play in it either way, so how straight the neck is under tension will be key. If it only needs tiny adjustments it should be fine.

So, looks great, I can't believe it's bound at this price, but the jury is still out until I can get it on the guitar and try to set it up properly.

And how it is currently, with the headstock painted and decal applied, waiting for the clear coats.

Different sell I think. I was looking in the same seller in the US.

Anyone know if these necks are really the same seller? They use the same photos. Maybe coming from the same factory and different people taking orders.

Also, sometimes I see the same picture for different prices - like $20 different. Any clues if they are actually different?
