Black Squier Affinity Starcaster Project Finished Pg. 1

I am going to mod this Starcaster to have a mix of Reznor and Delonge. Delonge for the paint work, and Reznor for the electronics. I learned Trent had been using some Gibson's with dual dirty fingers pickups and thought it would be fun to use those. I like the Delonge messy spray paint jobs so I thought it would combine together for something cool. I am going to update all the electronics while I have it apart.

Got the pots and jack installed. Once the two Dirty Fingers humbuckers come in, I can get it all finished up.

Knobs are on, pickups are wired in, and the toggle is in place. I just need some pickup ring screws and humbucker screws to arrive along with the custom neck plates to get this finished.

Neck is installed with the custom neck plate.

As I tried with the other, I made a paper template, taped off the side edge, painted it black. Then when I went to clean the edges up, the acrylic just rubbed off so red nail polish it is!
