musikraft jazzmaster necks...

Post by nealescott » Wed Oct 04, 2006 4:47 pm

oooo

just stumbled across this ebay auction.. i seem to remember these being discussed before, but i've never actually seen one, this one looks really nice, just needs some kind of oil or nitro finish over it and you're all set! this should be a perfect fit for everyone here making some kind of jazzmaster project guitar....

I actually dug up their website yesterday :)  They can do real "clay" dots (either white or aged) and lots of other cool options like choosing the color of the side markers. They're the only place I've seen that will actually do a real Jazzmaster headstock right off. I'd like to hera some first hand feedback about their stuff. You can even do a flame maple option for like $30 extra or something like that.

You can pick all  the options using the Strat form. I'm REALLY interested in them.

I know, that would make me SOOO happy. With the prices of original JMs and Jags getting so high, maybe the market is finally getting to the point where it will be worth while for these places to start making them (and normal JM headstocks too for that matter).

Thanks for the link!!!  Looks like a great candidate for a neck for the the J-blaster project for sure.

definitely.. i got a '67 coronado neck for around $350 and I'd take another for as much.. obviously an original Jazzmaster or should I say $trat neck will cost a lot more so -$400 would be nice
