Talk about modding or building your own guitar from scratch.

Another mental project.

Post by aen » Wed Oct 11, 2006 5:36 pm

So I decided today that I can't live without the "Scumbag silver sparkle" Jagmaster at my local shop.  Why?  Well, I'm not sure, I really hated it the first time I played it, but over the last year, it's really grown on me.  And, of course, I've got the "project bug"

Headstock reads "More sex, Less violence"

I'll need some tips and tricks, cause I've never filled in any cavities before, or drilled string holes/installed ferulles...  but It'll probably be spring before I start modding, things tend to cure poorly in the frozen section of the year.
I prefer their older stuff.

Oh man, that's GREAT!

I don't believe I've ever seen that combo before, and it just... looks... right!

I love it...

The tele bridge/pickup is the only bridge sound I really like clean, Jag is a close second, so i figured I might as well go for it.  I don't do much dirty bridge, except for noise/feedback, but then it's not about tone, is it?    I'm not sure about vintage style or 6 saddle, or what exact neck pickup, but I've got some time.  Either a wide range HB as pictured or a chrome covered Hum-size p90.

*edit*
