Hi all,
Here are some pics of the Hagmaster. (at least of how it used too look)
Hagmaster is no longer...but I will revive it next summer.
specs; 196? Hagström II body (was routed and given a hardtail strat treathment by a previous owner)
MIJ JM hardware, 196? Teisco "silver" pu's, and later on SD Ant II pu's.
Colour in the Hagström neck pocket is the original color. Something that looks very close to "Sonic Blue" (This colour will be used when refinned next summer)
Will posibly try to score a Squier neck for it. I will however delete the Trem and go with a Gibson style stop tailpiece instead as I already heve enough floating tremolo guitars.
Oh, almost forgot to mention. The original Hagström II has a 24.75" scale, so were the bridge timble holes originally. I moved the back (filling the original holes with a hardwood plug and drilling new ones for a JM bridge. Neck pocket was also a tad to narrow to hold the JM neck, easely dealth with using a wood chissel for wood carving.
Anyway, this guitar played and sounded very, very good. main reason I want to revive it! It will also look so cool once refinished....
This is how it looked when I got the body:
And at first trial (still with some old Teisco PU's)
And as it looked when parted out again, all parts exept the body went to the SB JM.
