Tort Pick Guards
I did a little casual poking around, and didn't come up with any threads that seemed to address the differences in quality between the many tort pick guards floating around out there, at widely varying prices. Being a newbie, I thought I'd open up a discussion on the differences depending on age, material, color, etc. This could apply to OSBs, Strats, or any other guitars- I'd be curious about info on pick guards in general as well, such as pearls, solid colors, wild materials, why some folks opt for anodized aluminum (shielding properties?), etc. Anyone care to chime in here and start a discussion on tort or other pick guards?

Re: Tort Pick Guards
Huge discussion here before it turned into a Spitfire F/S thread:

There was also a multi-page thread in the mods and projects section about a week ago IIRC.
