Vox Phantom XII

Wunjo in London has one of these. SO cool. I played that and an all-original '66 Electric XII today, and the Phantom was the better guitar. Really chimey and resonant, with wicked glassy little pickups.

Anyone else tried one?

Anton seems to use a Riviera XII a lot, too, which sounds really, really, really great. I'd love to buy one of those but they sell for a ood bit  :(

The Jerry Jones stuff is really nice. I have a '97 Baritone and it sounds and feels really nice. I bought one of the Dano 56U2s when they first reissued them in '98. It sounded okay but it never felt right. I did all I could to try to set it up better but I just couldn't get it right. I don't know if it was me or the guitar, but based on my experience, the extra money for a Jerry Jones is well worth it, especially if you can pick up a used one from the '90s or so. The feel and sound is top notch. But still, for the money, I think a 12 string Dano would be nice to have for anyone wanting a decent sounding 12 string for not a lot of investment. I haven't played any of the newer Danos with the 'upgraded' features they. They very well could be super nice guitars.
