They've got sort of a Melody Maker pickup.

You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

I prefer the thin bodied one. My room mate has a single pickup one painted black, and its pretty nice sounding, all though the feedback can get un-controllable.

I really like those ones. I think it has something to do with the pickguard and the non--cutaway body, but I think they are supercool.PorkyPrimeCut wrote: Thats the one.

I'm really curious about this. Is there really no way of preventing the feedback??dj_techa wrote: ........its pretty nice sounding, all though the feedback can get un-controllable.
I wasn't keen. The pickguard just felt really cheap & flimsy.i love sharin foo wrote: ........I really like those ones. I think it has something to do with the pickguard and the non--cutaway body, but I think they are supercool.

Tons of ways. I have an epi casino w/o the pick guard, and it gets some great feedback too. If you want to control it, get some strips of foam, stuff em in the F holes, and just play with the location and amount as you see sonically fit. Takes about 10 minutes to find a good setup, then i just leave em there. The 125s dont have alot of bracing going on, so the feedback is more than other gibsons, but it could be much much worse.
