Re: Epiphone EJ-200
I had one for years and was really pleased with it. I only sold it recently to save for a J-45.
I think I remember L&M had a big sale this summer and one of the locations had one on for $150 as the neck angle was a little extreme (or really actually ). They had remedied it with a rather high bridge and it seemed to play fine but I was surprised that Epiphone / Gibson would sell something like that. The bridge they had in it was, not a word of a lie, close to two inches high

had one for a decade....fantastic guitar...great sound...the only thing I got tired of was the size....I had times that after a couple of hours of playing I'd grow uncomfortable of it (and I'm 6'3" tall)

(I never sit and play for longer than 30 minutes at a time anyways.. )zhivago wrote: had one for a decade....fantastic guitar...great sound...the only thing I got tired of was the size....I had times that after a couple of hours of playing I'd grow uncomfortable of it (and I'm 6'3" tall)

Yeah they have adjusted for the dollar recently but the price on these came down a few years ago. I wonder what was the catalyst?

Re: Epiphone EJ-200
hmm don't know..
Maybe epiphone found a cheaper method of production
and were able to bring down their retail price to sell more
guitars.
