I want to restore my old standard strat with a new neck, body & pickguard... I'm thinking of fiesta red with mint green, vintage pearloidl or red tortoise. Please help me decide and post pics of strats (Jags & Jazzes are also welcome, of course

) with pickguards like these.
Thanks!

Thanks, Rumors! I tried the Dressing Room already, but I prefer the "real-life-look".
Red & mint is a beautiful combo, it would be a perfect sister to my AVRI fiesta red Jaguar...

. Like the Mark Knopfler Strat:

It's a funny thing...I'd kill for that Strat that Rumors posted while the Mark Knopfler Strat does nothing for me!
What's the difference? They're the same color w/ the same neck! Could it be that the wear makes the first one more appealing? Or the clay dots? Or the slight variation in color and shine?

The MK Strat is a different color...It's Hot Rod Red, while the above guitar is Fiesta.
That's also a great pic of the relic'd Strat, and not so much the MK one.

So is fiesta red a little bit brighter than hot rod red? Or is it the same colour with a different name? I saw the new American Series "Candy Cola", which reminds me of a darker Candy Apple Red...
Anyway... it's good as long as it's bright red...

There is NOTHING exactly like Fiesta Red. Fiesta is almos a candy color. Of all the reds Fender has done, that's the one you look at and you KNOW.
Anyway, here's Fiesta Red with white pearloid.

It does look strangely edible, somehow. Really.

Wow, that's wierd that you say that. Everyone that sees it says that it looks like a lollypop. My wife always goes to lick it.
