TTTides Aluminium Guitars

Post by cincinnatiharry » Sun Nov 28, 2021 6:36 am

So I put a €500 deposit on one of these beauties, a Travis Bean 1000 “inspired” design.

Same exact one in this video:

I will get it come February 2023 when the rest of the money for it is due (€850).

So yeah, great value for money, a neck-thru Aluminium guitar for €1350 w/ hard case made in Belgium.

Oh wow that’s a great deal in comparison to other manufacturers!
How’s the quality? Looking at the 335, something feels off.. bridge pickup doesn’t seem centered or something.

Quality? I couldn’t say for certain myself as I haven’t gotten mine yet :-)

The review on YouTube looks good tho, others have gotten them too and have been happy. Actually I haven’t read a bad thing.

He has “models” but every build is custom more or less. I asked for the same model in the video I linked above, a Travis Bean 1000 inspired design.

I have one, a 27,7" baritone. (Picture is taken from the website, but that´s my actual guitar). I´m very happy with it.

Post a video of you playing it!

I decided that I couldn’t just live owning one TTTides guitar so I am putting another €500 deposit down for a second one. They’ve given me €150 discount on my second one so €1200 in total for the 2nd one. A bargain me thinks.

I plan on starting a band that will tour Europe so 2 aluminium guitars on the road will sort me and take a beating.

Owner told me prices are going up in January to compensate for the price of steel so if you want one, I would put your order in now!

I have two EGCs, one Tyranny viewtopic.php?f=9&t=119943&p=1682634&hi ... y#p1682634 and one bolt-on build viewtopic.php?f=6&t=110415&p=1529287&hi ... c#p1529287 .

The TTTides stuff looks awesome, and serious value for money indeed. What's your 2nd TTTides going to be?

Those are nice guitars man!

I am getting TWO of the exact same thing. I plan on touring and I like consistency.

I am starting to move away from wood guitars, embracing the tone and durability of aluminium guitars.
