Vibrato, Tremelo, Whammy Bar, Wiggle Stick etc. etc. etc. I think you all know what I’m referring to.. Ok, for the sake of satisfying the Professor’s, Editor’s, Obsessive Complusives & other Genius’….. “VIBRATO”!

This isn’t Fender but what’s it called? https://www.staytrem.com/store/store

Does anyone know the answer to the Questions I posted?

Five. There's some overlap between lines, but also some exclusives.

But is usage not the arbiter of a word's meaning? If enough people agree that the word 'tremolo' (or tremelo, as the op insists on spelling it) refers to a vibrato unit, then that's what it means.

I don't entirely agree with the above, btw, just playing devil's advocate. :D
Corrected the Spelling..

I’m in the market for a new 2023 Fender Strat. I’m open to a USA, MIJ or MIM..

Do you know what the 5 Vibrato’s are? Are any or all used on Mexican or Japanese Strat’s?

They're basically the same right across the board (the Fender ones), but with slight differences. Some have the vintage style bent saddles, some (too few) have the modern block saddles. Some have the vintage style 6 screws, but most have the modern 2-point pivot. Most have the screw-in arm, some have the pop-in arm (with or without plastic tip). As I said, they aren't much different functionally if it's at all noticeable to you, the main difference is their appearance. (Maybe the block can vary a bit? It definitely does on 3rd party units.)

A quick run-down of the main current modern models:
American Ultra has 2-point, blocks & pop-in without tip.
American Professional has 2-point, bent saddles & pop-in with tip.
American Performer has 6-screw, bent saddles & screw-in with tip.
Player Plus has 2-point, blocks, (not sure how that arm goes in) with tip.
Player has 2-point, bent saddles, screw-in with tip.
Japanese series are all over the place and I don't know what's what, but my Hybrid is 2-point, bent, screw-in with tip.

These are on 2023 Strat’s.. So it appears USA Vibratos are used on MIM..

I remember a few years ago the MIM Lacquer 60’s Jags & JM’s.. Which were most USA Fender Parts that were assembled in Mexico.. For half the Price of a USA AV65 Jag or JM.. They had limited colors which held many back..

Are any of the current MIM Strats comparable the Lacquer 60’s concept? Utilizing top of the line USA Parts but assembled in Mexico?

The Fender USA and Mexico factories are not far apart, there is a HUGE amount of shared parts across all the guitars.
