Bargain!
Now release a regular-non-limited-edition 6 string version FFS!

It's weird they would put that top strap button there. It's like they are encouraging neck dive!
Other than that, it looks very nice!

I'm sucker for any type of Firebird!
This might be more expensive than an original Sunburst one from the 60s?

i think you get *less* dive with the strap pin there than on the neck heel, SG-style. certainly it won't roll forward as readilyCROSS_guitars wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 12:29 amIt's weird they would put that top strap button there. It's like they are encouraging neck dive!

$5999?! Fuck that noise! I know it’s a VOS special run, but I can imagine the market isn’t huge for 12-string non-reverse Firebirds.
I almost spit my coffee out, when I saw the price.

Yeah, fuck that price.
This augurs poorly for the predicted upcoming run of non-reverse Firebirds that I heard rumor of.

The price is inexcusable for sure, especially as this is the latter version of the Firebird that is glued-neck..how hard can it be for Gibson to make these things?
On the upside they may bomb in the current guitar market and end up in some sort of blow-out, you never know.
