NGD: 1967 Telecaster
Two hours ago my life was normal. Then something happened.
I’m excited.
To be revealed on Saturday afternoon.

I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Re: NGD…
Some good guesses already. You’re all in the right ballpark- definitely a Fender & not offset.
I think the stickers give away the model.

It’s completely stock.
It didn’t require me to remortgage my house.

Re: NGD…
It’s not a Strummer Telecaster. But it is a Telecaster.

Re: NGD…
I wish it was a Floyd Rose Tele
Instead, all I got was this 1967 Telecaster…
Owned by the seller virtually from new. A real once-in-a-lifetime find. It also happens to play amazingly & have everything I love in a tele: aggressive bridge, lovely warm neck pickup & the middle position is
Not sure what the wood is but it’s light and the neck is v slim. It feels like the guitar I’ve always wanted. I can’t believe my luck
It’s toured all over, been played on stage at Wembley & the Isle of Wight festival amongst other things. He did a lot of TV work as part of backing up American artists on tour, so kept the guitar in great condition.
We had a good hour long chat & he’s such an awesome guy, could listen to his stories for days. Sadly arthritis is hampering his playing. This feels like it could be a forever guitar. It certainly deserves to be.
More photos…
As the case has seen better days, he also threw in this 80s case for free!

Blimey that’s clean! Absolutely incredible find, can’t be too many lefties out there especially in that condition. Hope you enjoy it for many years to come.
