The secret is to go with brown on the edges and don’t let it build up too much. It’ll naturally faded to a darker shade over time

My new baby, a rare (especially in lefty) 71' reissue CIJ Tele. Super resonant ash body, suprisingly fat neck for a Japanese Fender, plays like a dream and is in pretty much like-new condition considering it's over 20 years old. Been on the hunt for a really nice lefty Tele for years and this finally feels like the one.

I’ve been keeping my eye out for a 70s reissue Tele myself… not that I need another tele.
