Thank you! :)

I wired the pickguard up and figured out the five way switch was bad... New one coming. Looks good though. LOL

Did the back and bursted the edge. I will need to check the edge from the front to see if I need to do a second coat. I am pretty happy with it!

Thanks!

I am excited to get clear on it and see how it looks with that. It should deepen the colors.

Not a big blues rock fan, but hey SRV was a legendary guitarist with great skill, so I can really appreciate this tribute you’re putting together.

It looks great so far.

Thanks! I don't normally listen to blues, but his skill was just so amazing. He played like the guitar was part of him. He made it look like it just came out of him with no effort. Amazing artist.

The neck came in and I did dye and stain on it. Will post pictures tomorrow.

Here is the neck. I did my usual thing. Stew Mac dye first and then maple stain over that. On the back of the neck I use special walnut stain to make the back look darker/dirtier. In a couple days after the stain dries, I will start wiping on clear.

Finished painting the edge black from the front. I will hopefully do clear on it this next weekend. :)

Neck has tung oil finish on. Just need to do the decal before I can install tuners and the nut. :)
