I am not able to get out and try out different guitars too often. Up until now, I have been using Chinese and Mexican Fenders

. The neck radius's of these guitars have all been a bit too small for me. (9.5) I haven't played many Les Pauls, but when I have, I found the 12'' radius to be very comfortable for both lead and rhythm. I don't know the radius of my Starcaster by Fender's neck, but it's bigger than 9.5''. Would anyone be able to recommend other guitars that have really chunky necks? Limit: $800.00. I tried out a PRS SE a few days ago that had a wide neck, but it wasn't very thick, or at least not as thick as the neck on the Epiphone Les Paul Ultra that I also tried. I don't believe that this has yet been discussed, but if it has, a link to the appropriate thread would be apprieciated.
EDIT: Right, fingerboard, my mistake. Thank you for the link. I would have deleted this thread myself had I been able to do so. Perhaps admin can.
