IMO you cannot go wrong with an AVRI '62 in Olympic White, although my favorite color is Sonic Blue FWIW.

That guy is GOOD! He even gets the bevel right.
I also like his bakelite (fakelite?) $trat parts. I checked them out thoroughly but ended up doing my own on my '54 $trat clone.

Fatboy seems to have good work but is very expensive .. I think he was charging nearly £100 for a set of repro white witch hats a while back.
Anyway, this is my favourite Strat picture .. it was a '63 that was sold through V & R:

.. it inspired me to choose sonic blue when I bought my only Strat, which I don't seem to have any pics of right now.

Is that a relic? Looks like a relic. It's a nice looking Strat none the less.
I really like strats. Not so much how they look or feel or even sound, there is just something about them that are nice. I only like beat up black ones and beat up white ones. Especially when they have maple necks and white/mint pickguards. Beautiful!
I like my strat because I don't mind beating the shit out of it.

His pickguards look fairly similar to the ones I linked to earlier in this thread. The really aged ones, I mean. Either way, I'm not a huge fan of either. They're both almost TOO aged.fullerplast wrote: That guy is GOOD! He even gets the bevel right.

No, that's the real deal AFAIK.StevenO wrote: Is that a relic? Looks like a relic. It's a nice looking Strat none the less.
It's probably one of the few combos (sonic/mint/rosewood) that I really like on a Strat. There's a guy on the Tonefactor forums who has a blonde with gold guard and maple neck, that's pretty special too.
