Help me identify this electric sitar

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

You mean the sitar swami???  Yeah, its a fuzz and octave pedal..save your money.  Try putting a piece of 1 inch tin foil between the saddles and the strings.

Getting back to the original post, I'm pretty sure it's an older model of the Rogue Sitar after a little research.  You can faintly see the Rogue logo in this photo and if you look through the Harmony Central reviews, people mention another Rogue Sitar model with one pickup akin to the Jerry Jones Baby Sitar.  I assume it's an older model that has since been discontinued.  The funny thing is a company like Rogue can mass produce that and yet I can only find a handful of pictures on the net of this older Rogue Sitar - weird. 

...still like the buzz bridge + dano idea though.

i think your right because jones usually just does those odd alligator style finishes on their sitars too.
