Congratulations to Epiphone. Some of their stuff is great.

I’ve never played around with P90s to consider that they might be different beasts. But I like the idea that the Gibson is more refined, and the epi is the punker.zhivago wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 7:06 amIt is ruder and louder, and frankly hand on heart, it is better sounding than the bridge pickup on the SG which is smoother and a bit more refined.sal paradise wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 2:51 amHow’s the sound compared to the P90 on the SG special?

I’m really enjoying the Casino for that reason, as well as the loudness when played unplugged. P90s are like the Jaguar sound I always wanted- articulate & punchy, with a bit of body.JSett wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 10:43 amP90s always sound good to me. To be One with the Boomer you must Also Capitalize words for Emphasis, Contrary to Grammatical Conventions.
This looks to be better executed than the fairly wonky looking 90s reissues.
These are all nice, but I like this one:
