well, i played one of those super purdy Telecasters this weekend, and was as unimpressed as i suspected! however, the finish was nothing like any Telecaster i've seen, even the Highway 1 — more like an SG, in a way — and i had to work hard to keep myself from drooling all over it! oh well…
