I am so jealous of you.  I've always wanted a thin-body 125.

Looks great! :?  Welcome to the club!  Glad you're enjoying it.

Regarding the bridge - it shouldn't actually be glued on.  It should normally just be held in place by the tension of the strings.  Have you tried loosening them up a little?

The serial number you found sounds like a factory order number, S indicating 1959, the first 4 digits are the batch no., the last 2 are the number it was within the batch.  So you got the 20th guitar from batch 1339.

What's the neck like - is it chunky?

It might seem 'stuck' due to the lacquer softening up at one time... on a very hot summer day... ???  But it was very common for people to glue them in place in the '60s when folk & rock were becoming more popular, when more 'hard strumming' occurred.

You know I'd never have thought it was just the tension that holds it. Sure enough though I slackened the strings & it moved back into place perfectly. The blemish has now gone. Haheey!

Thanks a bunch for pointing that out!!

The neck is more or less the same as my JM, maybe a little chunkier.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.
