Well, I'm sure Gibson has to charge that much to pay their army of grain-matchers.

Re: Oh Gibson....
There are a lot of things about Gibson I just don't get like...why do they charge upwards of $5k and $6k for a new Gibson Les Paul? Wouldn't someone with that kind of money stand to make a wiser in vestment on a vintage piece of some kind? You could probably get a smoking mid 50s LP JR for that price. Does anyone play any more or do they just collect?
Gibson is turning into that overweight guy behind the counter of some sports collectors shop selling insanely overpriced sports paraphernalia who can't actually play a sport at all. When did everyone start collecting baseball cards and stop playing baseball?
I have been friending for a Gibson recently but I just can't get over the prices....

Dear Gibson,
BLOW ME.

though i did like the reverse V.............i like weird looking guitars, it came with , 57 classics, a string through body, fat 50's neck, cool headstock and it was $999 that seems like a pretty good thing to me!

make feedback, not war. pick it up! pick it up! up, up!

Re: Oh Gibson....
Yeah there is this chubby idiot kid who goes to my school who has REALLY long hair, wears those hats, is decked out in fender gear, and thinks he is the cats meow because he knows 2 chords on a guitar. He used to bring his acoustic guitar to school (that has a butterfly sticker) and just sit trying to be hardcore strumming a D chord, then an E chord, then a D chord again, then another E, and so on and so forth. I played guitar for our James Bond Medley in orchestra, and during rehearsal he was just there for some reason and he asked me to be in his band, right after asking me "How fast can you strum?" lol. He is such a tool, lolmraphro wrote: i love how people wear fender stuff and DONT EVEN PLAY GUITAR :-\

I hope the rich bastards do keep buying them. Then, whenever I can justify it, maybe the R4BBs will still be in production. Whether the rich guys put them in cases, make tables out of them, or toss them out of windows, I do not care.
