Here's my '61:
I love this guitar. It has an abysmal refin though. The paint is perpetually sticky. Someday I will refinish it correctly. It was cheap though.

Nice, Danny, very classy.
There was a really nice single-cut LP Jr in the store when I bought my R6 .. big clubby neck just about as thick as the body. Looked very much like this one from above:
I probably should've bought it as I really clicked with it instantly .. but I'd been after an R6 for ages and couldn't afford both.
I guess I should take some pics of the R6 but it looks pretty much like every other goldtop LP, like this one also from zhiv's post above:
Speaking of Gibsons, our local guitar store has just become a Gibson dealer so I got to play a 339 the other week. It was a great guitar, really fun. I stopped myself buying it by thinking how much greater it would've been with P90s ..
