My Tele thinline is almost done, although I have this weird problem with it – it has a cat stuck to the headstock. Anyone else had this problem?
I think I nearly bought that amp off somebody on here before. It looks very familiar!
Jon, you do metallics so tastefully compared to what comes out of the Fender factory these days. Really tempted to send a body your way

Hey Bill, yep we talked about this amp!
I'll be keeping it for good most likely - finally found a tech who was able to diagnose the reason why the treble pot was not functioning. And I got an attenuator so it's more usable at home. Sounds great with the tele!

A customer just posted some pics of his finished build using a body I painted for him in lightly aged Inca Silver. Of course I'm biased but I think this is one of the best looking tele builds I've seen in a long time! I'm tempted to go Inca Silver for my personal build now.
I'm still tempted to ask you to do an inca body for a "Luxury" - Syd Barrett Esquire

I have an american pro telecaster in seafom green and I am very happy with it, expecially the pickups and the neck. The body colour could be a bit better, but I am generally very satisfied.

Maybe this one is, since the original has been lost, but the original was radiator heat shrinking insulation

Tried one of these out in a guitar store yesterday and it was INCREDIBLE.
Nicest Telecaster I've played in a long time.

Is it a fender?

Yup. Fender Telecaster Thinline Elite. It's the nicest guitar in the Elite lineup by far.

^A nice playing and sounding guitar. I'm a little turned off by the proprietary bridge though.

The limited roasted ash teles are super nice too. If I were in the market right now that's what I would get.

Here are my 2 brethren. Would love to own a '72 Thinline "to spice things up a bit", but I've ran out of rackspace to house one, and there are other humbucker guitars I covet as well (I'm not a humbucker-guy to begin with).
The sunburst one is strung with roundwounds, the white one with thick flatwounds. The sunburst sounds bright & twangy, the white one sounds like getting your face kicked in with a mallet.

After still having trouble with strings popping out of the saddles with mine. I switched to a mastery. I had a notched 3 saddle bridge and neck shim.
It was totally worth it
