oh, yeah! I wasn’t questioning it, just an equally cool story.

There were bits laying around... Nothing hugely rare from what I saw. Best one was a Riviera Concert combo. It was mostly old British stuff.thisisnickpaige wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 1:38 amDoes this guy have any Fender stuff? Will be in London in April.

So... is it any good as a guitar, or better off as a museum piece?

How’s that staple pickup? I’ve never tried one. Looks wild under the hood.

Yeah it's crazy. Every pole piece has its own spring and bracket! It sounds like a really hi-fi P90 but with the FATTEST low end I've ever heard...wall-shakingly fat.BoringPostcards wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:23 amHow’s that staple pickup? I’ve never tried one. Looks wild under the hood.
I'm not a fan of a neck pickup, as you all know, but it's great for cleans

Re: I'm back...
I'm not going to make a fuss about it but I'll leave this here.
I'm off again. I've been told that my presence back here is likely to upset some people. This is not what I'd intended and against my nature, I'd hoped some time would heal things.
Not a problem.
If anyone wants to get in contact in the future, or just follow my gear adventures, you can catch me here:

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and story. It was nice to share it with you all.

What a shame. It's been stagnant round here since people left, I was hopeful that this could be the start of some more interesting topics of discussion rather than the same old bridge setup, shims threads that are repeated almost daily.
Surely the 4 pages of people welcoming you back says something...

Yeah, it has been really slow. There isn’t much to really read or look at anymore. I’ve been here since before the beginning, but it kind of feels like it has run its course for me. There’s so many of the colorful posters through the years that aren’t here anymore. It’s a weird feeling for me.GreenKnee wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 2:11 pm
