I haven't tried any of the Chibsons but I have bought some of the Hofner ignition models from aliexpress at under dealer cost for them and they were all as good as any of the ignitions you'd find in stores. Nothing super fancy but perfectly usable and excellent after I did a fret level and crowning. There's very few actual guitar factories in the world so for a lot of these cheaper imports it's likely the same factory that someone like Harley Benton or even Sire is using, if not Fender and GIbson themselves for their import models.

The only factory I would say it's almost certainly not is the Qingdao factory that Epiphones are made in since I'm 99% sure that Gibson actually owns and operates the entire facility themselves. Chibsons floating out of there would be...
