Do new Squiers count? I know the Wide Range in the neck isn't close to vintage specs but I still love the way it sounds, especially in the middle position. I've got a 50's Baja tele that I'm sure is super jealous that this guy is getting more playing time than it recently.

Here is my 72RI tele custom next to the 62RI tele custom. There is nothing else like that middle pickup position with the combination of the WRHB and the tele bridge pickups.

That's pretty cool man. I guess he just loves his JMs and Crockenbackers.

Is this Mohamad Ali ?
Looks more like Cassius Clay.
He was the greatest tele player ever. Roy Buchanan and Danny Gatton got all their tricks from him.

better saddles might be a good option too...

keep 'em coming!
I can only envision the next step in the quest for the ultimate relicing process will be to purposely induce woodworm damage; with websites popping up offering worm-based relicing services and tone-inducing claims associated with certain strains of worms

awww man... hurts to see my old deluxe on page 2. One of the big mistakes of my gear addiction was to sell that guitar.

I find it odd that no one has mentioned the aluminum neck Kramer bass the bassist in the Ali pick is sporting!

Here's a pic of the Mongrel now that it's finished. It's my #1 and I can't really imagine anything knocking it down for awhile.
