Reccomend me a guitar
I'm looking to buy a new guitar, but I'm not sure what to get.
Im a lefty and I find that theres a really limited selection of left handed guitars.
I play alternative, indie, psychedelic, blues and classic rock.

Re: Reccomend me a guitar
Ive been looking at a Higway One Strat and an Epi Sheraton.
Has anyone had any experience with either of them?

The Sheratons are nice, but they aren't that nice. I'd rather have a Casino, but that's because I don't really like humbuckers(except Filtertrons and WRHBs).
HWY 1 Strats are nice looking, but I don't like the HUGE frets, the fact that there are 22 of them, or the really hot pickups.
How about a '72 Tele Deluxe RI?

There's a thread in this section titled "BUDGET AXES" and I think lots of gtrs listed there will be worthwhile.
I'm a big proponent of Squiers, for what it's worth.
The SG Classic mentioned above is a great gtr, too; but it doesn't come in lefty as far as I know.

A highway one strat would suit all of the musical purposes you listed rather well.

I could be wrong, too.benelli wrote:del wrote: There's a thread in this section titled "BUDGET AXES" and I think lots of gtrs listed there will be worthwhile.

And as I can see you came here to to do two things and are, in fact, all out of bubblegum, and I'm not a fan of the alternative, well... I don't want to come across as some kind of wrongheaded know-it-all. That's the sort of thing that can lead to not-chewing-bubblegum option.
