Incoming NGD
Guild Jetstar, Newark Street Collection
These are on sale for €369 shipped, down from €600, comes with a gig bag. Set neck, all mahogny, Fender scale, alnico mini humbuckers. I am thinking it will be good to go once I put a cheap bigsby on it... I wish Bigsby sold “licensed” bigsby vibratos to the public... Maybe a knock off or one of those Dusenburg ones?

Cool, it reminds me of an Epiphone Coronet. Those Duesenberg tremolos are very good, you finely tune them way more than any other tremolo that I've tried.

Wait, is this "the one" or just an appetizer?
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Those Guild humbuckers are really nice and chimey for HBs.
I haven't played that model, but I've played an S100 Polara and an S200 T Bird from that collection recently and the LB1 humbuckers were great.
I was planning on snagging the S100, but the virus got the place shut down for the time being.

Re: Incoming NGD
Yo! I dunno until I play it. However, I like that it has a set neck... I am mini humbucker fan: I have Lollars in my Gibson Firebird V (I upgraded it last year and put a Bigsby on it too). I like that this has a Fender scale, that should create more tension and make tunings like C standard work better... I bought a Dusenburg Les Trem II for it yesterday, it was €88. I also bought an Orange Micro Terror w/ bag so at this point I have spent all the money from the the Strat sale (more actually). I got the Micro Terror because the new Orange Stamp is out of stock everywhere and “in stock” dates have been pushed back to two months at this point , I needed an amp with a headphone out for playing at home and the iPad Pro w/ Amplitude set up just wasn’t cutting it.
I bought a 2019 Gibson Flying V Tribute on blow out and it arrived yesterday (the thread is posted on it).
At this point, guitar wise, I am pretty done for the time being anyway. I would like an Orange PPC212 cabinet (the Made in the U.K. one)... I have one in storage in the USA but I don’t have one in Ireland. However, it is hard to justify now because I have no idea when I will be playing out again.
I may buy an Ibanez TS-9 mini or this Cliff Burton Fuzz box https://www.thomann.de/ie/morley_cliff_ ... zz_box.htm it is on sale for €59 down from like €100 something.

Sadly only the Jetstar model is on sale
They want €699 for the Guild Polara https://www.thomann.de/ie/guild_s_100_polara_blk.htm

Yeah this scratches and itch, I was gonna buy one of the new Harmony’s made by Heritage Guitars now at the old Gibson factory, but I like a set neck (I know, not a popular opinion on here) so with the Dusenburg Les Trem II this will make me happy I hope.

Re: Incoming NGD
It arrived, finally!
First impressions, at €369 it’s damn good value for money. Set up was perfect out of the box, no fret buzz, or sharp fret ends: very well built, not a scratch on it. Neck is wide and thick. The Fender scale length will take some getting used to. I am looking forward to tuning it to Open G and Drop C... I think those tuninga
Will work well on this guitar.
The pickups are AlNiCo V BUT they don’t sound so good at low volumes which is the only volume I play at as I play at home and when I play out, weekly, the pub is TINY so I bring my 1 watt Wangs amp and dial it on 2.
When you crank it the pickups sound great.

Cool!
Aren't those Wangs' amps just great? I've got the Mini 5 and it's a blast.

I really need to check one of those out one day, they’re relatively cheap and get great reviews. But I think that you can only order them (?). And even if they were around to try out, now isn’t a time to go surfing in a guitar shop.
And I would have to choose between it and a Bugera T5, if I got one. But if it’s really good, I doubt I’d regret selling a Bugera, I have 2.

Re: Incoming NGD
I should try that! I love my Wangs 1 Watt thang. Great toanz. It really is it’s own thing.
I am super into teeny tiny amps. The Orange Micro Terrors, The EHX 5mm, the .22 Caliber, the Magnum 44, Wangs amps... I buy them all. I NEED the Orange Terror Stamp but it is sold out all
over Europe.
You know what sounds AMAZING? The Smokey Amp
https://smokeyamps.com/
You plug your guitar in, plug the ext. speaker out to a cab OMG, sounds so good. I use one of those 9volt battery adapters, plug my pedal board into it and control the gain with a volume pedal.
