That's a fantastic shade of blue. Can't wait to see how this ends up.

Re: Epiphone Casino Refin (is happening!)
I'm awful at keeping secrets...I got this image on Monday?
and was a bit thrown at how candy apple blue it looked. Was sort of worried it wasn't going to come out how I'd hoped. Man was I wrong.
Ready?
I'm so excited about this, I can't keep these pictures from you anymore hahaha. Josh sent them to me yesterday and I think I audibly gasped. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow morning. I can't wait. Keep in mind I'm not a huge fan of relics but wanted a yellowed Pelham blue so the checking/light aging is okay with me. He absolutely nailed it. It's insane.

That looks incredible - it came out so well. I'm ambivalent about relicing in general but that particular shade of blue you've got there is so unique. I've never seen Pelham quite that shade.
Great stuff.

I also had him make me a black pickguard along with the parchment guard in case I ever want to swap them...I think parchment is the one but damn if that black isn't classy. What do you guys like better?

I agree, I'm so happy with it. To think I was considering a '59 VOS ES-330 in Pelham, that shade of Pelham doesn't even compare to this. Josh is incredible at what he does.

Oh wow, that turned out amazingly well! Damn. I'm leaning parchment but they're both killer. That color. Nailed it.

Re: Epiphone Casino Refin (is happening!)
That's amazing!!! I like the black guard with it as well, but if you use the parchment, you should also change the truss rod cover to parchment to match

Wow! That looks insanely good!!!
I'd stick with parchment too but the black does look good (thank god you didn't opt for tort!)

Re: Epiphone Casino Refin (is happening!)
hot damn that's beautiful. It's funny you are debating the pickguard. I have a turquoise casino myself (which gives a similar vibe to yours color wise) and I am not sure about what pickguard to go with myself. I debating ordering a tort.
