I am in the process of negoitating for a cool refin '64 strat, but one thing is odd, and I can't figure it out.
Check out this neck pocket:
the neck dates from Feb '64. so this should 100% have a paint stick marking.. but it doesn't. it has the OK stamp, which is fine, but no paint stick mark..
If the paint was removed from that area (I can somewhat see an area where the paint stick could have been) how is the O.K stamp still there?
Any thoughts?
