NAGD...oh...and one more thing.

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Son of a bitch!!! *

This was pretty much top of my small-bodied guitar list, along with the M20 or some kind of LG, if money wasn't an issue.

These old Guild acoustics are so elegant & classy. Simple, straight to the point & most likely great to play (on the ear & the fingers). Great little story attached to it too.

Congrats!

Woa, that's a neat little Guild! How does it sound? And how much was it, if you don't mind sharing that information with us?

Beautiful, Maggie!! My F-30 is amazeballs, and I’m sure your F-20 is no different. Such great guitars.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Really easy to play, flatpick, fingers, and combo. The notes just jump out of it.

That's wonderful right there! Congratulations.

With tax and shipping just under $1400.00. Worth every penny. And if it weren't from my friend, Deb, who covered the part I couldn't pay, I wouldn't have it.

So, of course, I named the guitar, "Deborah."

That's a good deal!

I love Guilds: my main acoustic is a mid-80s Westerly-made sunburst D40. It doesn't have a name though.

I had a friend with an F20 and a D-something, and they were both so good. I've been chasing after a Guild, with the right mojo, for over twenty years, and just now, found that for which I was looking.

You know, "Maggie" is a good name...
