Anyone have experience with the new Fender CuNiFe pickups? I ordered one a little while back for one of my guitars but apparently the bridge pickup is back ordered until mid May.
Anyone try a neck model in the bridge position? I'll be pairing the pickup with a SD Antiquity Jaguar in the neck so the lower output might be a good match.

Re: Fender CuNiFe pickups
There was a discussion of these recently. There's no difference in construction or dimensions, no reason you couldn't get a pair of neck units and put whichever one has higher output (yes, I know resistance isn't actually actual output, but you know what I mean) in the bridge and adjust heights to desired balance. Since you're going with a different style pickup, you're going to be fiddling to balance anyway. I don't why it would be an issue to use a "neck" pickup.

OP,
I’m intrigued by this guitar! What’s going on here?

Thanks for showing us more! I love the color choice and shape of it. I’m also a fan of mismatched pickups on guitars. What do you call it?

Like maybe ten years ago two pickup makers, I think it was Curtis Novak and this other guy got into this massive feud about their respective repro version of Fender CuNiFe pickups on here. High guitar forum drama.
