If the choice is between LPB and anything else it's not a choice -- LPB is objectively the best-looking Fender color, promotes a general sense of well-being*, and instills in others the importance of respecting such a visionary color picker and the desire to follow said picker into the depths of hell because what the shit it's Friday and they're bored*.
*these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA

If the LPB had a maple neck it’d be perfect.
The OP should buy both, swap the necks and pick one.
