Need a favour: Gretsch info
Hello
I'm trying to hunt down info about gretsch guitars.
Does anyone know if the website "The Gretsch Pages " is still active. The Google links i can find say the server is not found.
I have seen references to the site recently tho'
Any help will thanked for !

Thanks Sonik
But on clicking the link -
" page cannot be displayed"
"can't find server"

Any suggestions on why this may be ?
Perhaps the innernnet cable across the Pacific doesn't quite reach ?

+1 - a-ok here.
Maybe reset your IP? Are you looking from work, and it's not on the "approved" list of sites allowed?

Never actually having done it before, I'm probably the last guy to ask!windmill wrote: I'm internetting from home

That being said, I Google'd your problem, and it looks like you might also have a spy/ad ware problem. Do you run Ad-aware and/or Spybot? That might help...

Click Start.
Select Run.
Type cmd
In the Command Prompt that appears type "ipconfig /release"
After a few seconds when the cursor reappears type "ipconfig /renew"
That should "reset your IP." Depending on the type of internet and who your provider is, it may cause you to loose connectivity. BUT you should probably be ok. I doubt this will work.
I would also try this:
Click Start.
Select Run.
Type cmd
ipconfig /flushdns
That might do it for you.

Thanks for your help
I run the free version of AVG,spybot but I have been having trouble running th enew version of Ad-aware, it keeps getting stuck about 2/3 of the way through.
I'll give the resetting a go
Thanks again
