Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa - that's not my batman cup.

...love the guitar.  Are you going to replace the pickups?  I always hear people either love or hate the stock ones on the Electromatics.

i used to think the Silver sparkle was too much bling until i played an old (1964) red sparkle Duo Jet and realized that Gretsch is ALL about the bling even if it is just the big Orange version. Nice g'itar!

i think that's because the Electromatics have had 3-4 different pickups since the late 90s and the new 'buckers they've put on the last year or two certainly seem to be a love/hate thing, but those DeArmonds are Sweet!

Nice guitar.
I totally dig the DeArmonds in my '96 Silver Jet.  They are my fave pickup other than Jazzmaster PU's.

Very nice.  One day I'll get the nerve to buy a Gretsch.  I'm just worried about non-American craftsmanship.  Does that make me an ass?  Yeah, maybe.  But those are some expensive foreign-made guitars.
