That's a real classy looking guitar. đŸ»

I remember these. Very cool, I had a similar Cort I haven't been able to find a picture of since.

Little bit of digging and finally found it.

Love how the flame brings out the grain on this one. Bet it plays and sounds great based on the reviews I saw.

It's a fantastic guitar. The tone pot needs to be replaced, it died a few months ago, but aside from that, it's a super-solid offset Jazz Fusion machine.

RIP, Hiram.

Didn’t wanna start a new thread for this post, I figured this would be the best place for it

I had to sell my LTD TE-406 but couldn’t live without a little shredder guitar in the house.
Picked this up today for an absolute steal from a good dude.
3 hour round trip but well worth it.

Looks menacing right?
Always thought if I bought a Jackson it’d be a neon crackle paint monstrosity with a Floyd but here we are

I was looking for either another 7 string or a baritone for an upcoming project, if I sell some unused gear I might be on time to jump on this :

I like Ibanez's take on the LP DC, it's pretty neat to see a 7 string that's shreddy but not too much ! Looks like it's neck dive city though.

Ooh, if this thread has turned into a discussion of shreddy guitars being played by non-shredders, then I get to post my black Flying V with Wilde L-500s.

It gets a killer snappy funk tone in the neck, Gretschy tones in the middle, and alt/rock tones in the bridge.

I really want an Allan Holdsworth Charvel, or even an Ibanez signature model.

I kind of want one of the Carvin "Fatboy" models.

Was the AH Charv a MIJ with bridge pickup?

I don’t know how many were USA and how many were Japan, but I think there were some of both. Single bridge humbucker, wide neck. There are some Fernandes models out there, too. Some variation in the controls and wiring, but usually very minimal. That’s what I’ve always liked about his ‘80s models, really stripped down and clean.

Honestly, it’s what makes a DeLonge strat cool... but I don’t like DeLonge or Invaders or pearl guards etc etc.
