New Guitar Day: Fender EVH 5150

Sorry no pics. I'm unsure how to post pics, as I don't have any images stored or set on the internet ....
But the guitar is exactly like others on the internet: a 2022 EVH 5150 Special Ash Body (satin clear finish) Super Strat, with Floyd Rose and D Tuna, two alnico II pups, hockey stick headstock, lovely ebony fretboard.
It's best attribute, and probably the reason I bought it: A SUPER COOL KILL SWITCH. It's the evolution of guitar as far as I'm concerned.
So in my relatively late years I'm learning old VH songs like Running with the Devil, Unchained, Pretty Woman, Beautiful Girls, Mean Streets ....
EVH was a force of nature as a guitarist. Old VH has a certain California youth in the 70s vibe that I enjoy a lot. Sophomoric lyrics, but relentless drums and guitar, LOUD!!!
Its quite the kick.
Ash is being phased out by Fender. And yet their legendary instruments from 1950 to 1956 were ash. The guitar is not the Wolfgang, but a re-imaging by his son of his father's 5150 Kramer.
It's a lovely guitar. Built like a tank.
If you are new to VH, I'd recommend two videos on the internet: a 1977-8 local gig at a Hilton hotel in Pasadena, .... They were just kids, unsigned. And their last show at the Hollywood Bowl. Ed, Alex his brother, Wolfie his son back David Lee Roth.
Funny thing, the guitar thru a cranked distorted amp, sounds exactly like the concert videos. It's pretty spectacular.
