Yannis, that looks fantastic! I’ve been playing my Esquire a lot lately. I don’t feel limited by the lack of options in the slightest,
If anything it makes me feel more creative and is quite inspiring!

I found stripping most of my guitars of everything bar a bridge pickup really forced my hand and made me write much better songs.

I find I just play differently. Much more dynamics. It’s not better or worse, just different and still very enjoyable.

Agreed. It taught more me in a few months about picking location for tonal changes than I'd learnt in 30 years of playing. I love it. It's liberating.

Thanks Steven!
I gave it a spin with a band over the weekend, a single pickup guitar makes me play it almost like an acoustic...varying not only pick attack, but also location...rewarding and above all, fun!
Resident Spartan.
