So as far as I can tell, it's a CIJ 1998-2004 range.
Body is light weight
Rosewood fingerboard
Fender Pure Vintage 65's is the only "upgrade"

I'm most excited to see that old G&L bass there- everybody knows about Strats, not everyone knows that G&L makes the best basses. What is that, an old SB-2?
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

It’s the less common version of the SB2 aka “Lynx”

Alan Gevaert of dEUS is wielding one of those for since forever.

There you go- that's awesome. Is that like 1985 or something?

I haven't had the neck off since maybe 1997, but I recall it having a March 86 build date on it.

Decided to do a service on the very light Strat. I don't recall the CIJ/MIJ Stratocasters having rough cut routes. Am I just getting old and that's how they came?

I did verify that this one does not have the Pure Vintage 65's but the PV59's A replaced pot. I also discovered that the MIM pickguards have the all but 4 of the 11 holes are about a mm off from each other.
