:? :? :?
Basically me around every custom shop guitar there. The pink LPJ, a pink 58 V, and a heather poly 58 V would all have been very tempting if I had any money.

Any nice SGs there? I know they’re not as popular these days around here (used to be quite a few of us SG guys).

I've been to the Garage in Nashville many times and it feels a lot more like a tourist spot than a guitar store, worth checking out regardless though its a pretty cool place. I've heard this new one has bigger Epiphone and Kramer areas which might make it a little bit more worth it to check out if you don't have new Gibson money ;D

I love SG's but they don't agree with my playing style. Well, my holding-the-guitar style. I'm forever bending the tuning sharp or flat just by manhandling the thing.

There were all the cool colour standards and a couple of very nice Murphy lab ones. There was a three pickup custom from Murphy in a fantastic shade of blue, really stood out. I didn’t really notice any other super interesting ones but I’m also not much of an SG person.

Exactly my thoughts. There’s a stripped 2020 on reverb that would be perfect but they want the same as one that’s still got the original finish.
This one?...

I saw that and thought "if I could get that for 800-900 and paint it, it'd be a good deal".

Not for the 1170 they want though. I have lowballed them pretty brutally though :D It's been for sale for over 2 years

Oh yeah I've thrown some real low offers their way, didn't get a counter offer or anything so I guess they want 1170 or nothing at all.

Almost instant rejection of my £700 offer :D

I suspect that's exactly what this is meant to be, it's just off Oxford Street and by the sounds of things seems to lean heavily into merchandising. It sounds like the guitar equivalent of M&Ms World.

But as I said in my previous post, I'd rather this than more luxury fashion. Although I suppose that's what Gibson is too, to an extent.

:/

Well, if I can't find my dream guitar maybe I can at least get some cushy new bed sheets or nitro scented bath bubbles.

You could kit yourself out with this quite nice but also very expensive cardigan, or a £1300 leather jacket that looks suspiciously similar to the one I bought off Fleabay for £20 several years back. I kind of dig one of the trucker hats, to be fair.

Good grief. I think I'll stick with a patch, but they do have a nice hat or two for sure.
