They would sell so many of all of these of they were more reasonably priced.

This stunning Gibson is £1389 brand new. Less than these Epiphones!?

I'm probably going to buy this actually, it's a stunner and right up my street. Can see these being £2k in the next couple of years.
Well I gone dunnit now haven't I!?

Just about to take it out to a practice, ready for a gig on Friday.

What is it? I can't see it.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

A Black Gibson SG Special with p90s and a brown/pink case. Hell of a guitar.

Congrats, Greenknee!

Yes!!! Beautiful :-*

I almost bought a 60s tribute SG special last night. Hesitated at the last second as it was a good price, but not a great price. Sold this morning though. Probably for the best right now.

If Gibson ever release a lefty special in ebony, I’m not going to be able to resist that.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Thanks, yeah it's a looker for sure!

First leg of practice has gone great, really nice to have such a light guitar, 6lbs 10oz I think it is. It took all of 30 seconds to adjust to the flatter 12" radius. My first 'proper' electric was an SG, and this is bringing back so many wonderful memories. They are full on riff machines :D

The P90s have some serious attitude, any headroom the Bassman had is well and truly gone, just dirt and more dirt, heaven!

I mean of course they didn’t do a Les Paul Jr.
more chance of that than a es-325 which is my favorite gibson.
offset guitars resident bass player.

As an ES-320 fan, I feel this.

That does look great. I have a Jumbo, they are different than I had thought. They are very well balanced guitars and not all that loud really.

Love the P90 SG upthread, my current favorite guitar is an older Classic, wish it was black rather than red.

As for these expensive Epiphones, I'd be pretty hestitant to pull the trigger at these prices. I just sold a Chinese-made Jack Casady I way overpaid for during the pandemic. I'd gotten it because I loved the Pelham blue so much. I was sort of suprised at it being a little rough around the edges and it had a definite second tier feeling to it. Never played a Korean one so maybe it was how the whole line felt? In any case, I flipped mine for a Guild Starfire I and that bass just feels better in every way, despite the way cheaper price.

I’ve played a Cassidy and also found that it had subpar fit and finish. Lots of rattling. The Starfires look awsome, one would go great with my Hagstrom Viking bass.

The Casady had challenging ergonomics due to its very large body and I found rather dull sounding. I've seen folks compare its sound to a Precision and I think that's pretty nuts. I think I finally hit the end of the road with any bass from the Gibson part of the world due to the JC experience. The Starfire has a more compact body, more clarity and so far I haven't found any penalty to it being short-scale.
